Wyandot (spr. Ueiandot), 1) Grafschaft im Staate Ohio, ungefähr 18 QM., vom Sandusky River u. den Tymochte u. Brockensword Creeks durchflossen, große Prairien u. Waldungen, sehr fruchtbar; Producte: Mais, Weizen, Rindvieh, Schafe; die Mad River-Lake Eriebahn u. die Ohio-Indianabahn durchschneiden die Grafschaft; das Gebiet war früher im Besitz der Wyandot Indianer od. Huronen (s.d.), die Grafschaft wurde 1845 aus Theilen der Grafschaften Hardin, Crawford, Hancock u. Marion gebildet; 1850: 11,292 Ew., worunter Upper Sandusky; 2) noch unorganisirte Grafschaft im nördlichen Theile des Staates Michigan, vom Süden nach Norden vom Cheboygan River, einem Zufluß des Huron Sees durchflossen, enthält die Long u. Crocked Sees.
