Majŭma (röm. Ant.), lustiges Mai- (nach And. August-) Fest, auf dem Wasser in Ostia gefeiert, seit Kaiser Claudius. Unter Constantin d. Gr. wurde es wegen der dabei begangenen Unsittlichkeiten abgeschafft, von Honorius u. Arcadius mit Einschränkungen 395 erneuert, aber 399 abermals verboten.
