Hyssos

Hyssos (a. Geogr.), Fluß in Pontos, der östlich von Trapezus in das Schwarze Meer mündete; j. Sourmun. An seiner Mündung lag die feste Stadt Hyssi portus; sie hatte in der römischen Zeit eine Besatzung u. hieß später Susarmia, jetzt Eshet.
