Kwihnst'n), 1) Hauptstadt des Districts Niagara in Unter Canada (Britisches Nordamerika) am Niagara River unweit unterhalb des Niagarafalls, an einer Portage (Schleuße) zur Umgehung des Niagarafalls u. an der Niagara Eisenbahn; Handel; 4000 Ew.; auf einer nahen Höhe (Queenston Hights) Denkmal des englischen Generals Brock, welcher hier 1812 gegen die Amerikaner fiel; 2) so v.w. Maryborough.
