Wardour Castle

Wardour Castle (spr. Uarderkässel), Landsitz in der englischen Grafschaft Wilt; hat Trümmern eines alten Schlosses, welches zur Zeit Cromwells von der Wittwe des Lords Arundel (dessen Familie der Landsitz noch jetzt gehört) mit 25 Mann gegen 1300 M. Parlamentssoldaten vertheidigt wurde.
