Pitantĭa

Pitantĭa, in alten Stiftungsbriefen die Zukost, welche Mönche od. Nonnen an einem bestimmten Tage, nach einer besondern Stiftung (Oblatio pitantialis) bekommen; meist lesen sie an diesen Tagen dem Stifter (Pitantiarius) eine Messe.
