Facciolāti

Facciolāti (spr. Fatscholati), Jacob, geb. 1682 zu Toreglia bei Padua; war Professor der Theologie u. Philosophie, Präfect des Seminars u. Studiendirector der Universität in Padua, wo er 1796 starb. Mit Forcellini gab er Calepino's Lexicon VII linguarum, Nizolius Lexicon Ciceronianum u. Schrevels griechisches Wörterbuch von Neuem heraus u. schr.: Animadversiones crit. in magnum Danetii dictionarium latino-gall., ebd. 1759; mehrere lateinische Reden u. Briefe u. besorgte auch mehrere Ausgaben einzelner Schriften des Cicero u. Isokrates; besonderes Verdienst erwarb er sich aber durch die Theilnahme an dem, von Forcellini (s.d.) beendeten Thesaurus totius latinitatis.
