Tydeman, 1) Minard, geb. 1741 in Zwolle; wurde 1763 Rector der Schule in Leuwarden, 1765 Professor der Beredsamkeit u. Griechischen Sprache in Harderwijk u. 1766 Professor des Natur- u. öffentlichen Rechts in Utrecht, wo er mit einiger Unterbrechung bis 1790 war, dann bekleidete er das Amt eines Staatssecretärs der Provinz Ober-Yssel, ging 1795 nach Campen u. 1801 nach Leyden, wo er 1813 Professor wurde u. 1825 starb. Er schrieb mehre juristische u. philologische Abhandlungen. 2) s. Tijdemann.
